Meet Angelo

Dr. Angelo Dart is originally from Brunswick, Georgia where he served as a Deputy Sheriff for the Glynn County Police Department. He joined the Army in 1975 serving tours at Ft. Lewis, Washington; Ft. Polk, Louisiana; and the U.S. Army Europe. Upon his discharge in 1982, he became the founding pastor of the New Life Interfaith Christian Church in Brunswick, Georgia. His career with the Department of Defense began in 1989 as a Professional Counselor with the United States Army, working with soldiers and their families, while concurrently employed as a Family Therapist with the Rader Institute for individuals with eating disorders.  He has also served as an Army Community Services Officer and a Family Advocacy Officer.

He is a graduate of Troy State University completing a Master's Degree in Counseling and Human Development, and a graduate of Regent University receiving a Master's Degree in Practical Theology.   He holds a Doctor of Ministry in Renewal and Leadership Studies and is an Adjunct Professor at Regent University.  Dr. Dart is the Founder of Times of Harvest Ministries, dealing with the many social issues that affect the church and society. His research has involved promoting social, racial, and cultural integration in the local and universal church and he is the author of the book"Who Shall Seperate Us? Uniting the Segregated Church". He currently resides in Newport News, Virginia with his wife, Marsha Dunwoody of more than 45 years. He has two children, Angela and David also of Newport News. He loves reading, dogs, and the Dallas Cowboys.
